Roni Soffer
Founder & Managing Partner
Mr. Soffer founded TopMed Realty in 2016 and has a diverse background in both public and private real estate on a global level. Most recently, from 2009 till 2015, Mr. Soffer served as President of Gazit Globe Ltd, a $20 billion platform that is publicly traded and operates in more than 20 countries. He led the company’s U.S. IPO and listing on the New York Stock Exchange and subsequent listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange. During his tenure at Gazit from 1997 till 2015, Mr. Soffer led numerous healthcare and retail real estate transactions and M&A activity in excess value of $10 billion. Mr. Soffer founded and managed Gazit’s healthcare real estate private platforms in the U.S and Canada which had a combined value of approximately $900 million. In addition, he served as a board member at Atrium European Real Estate Limited, a publicly-traded subsidiary of Gazit.
Mr. Soffer is also Executive Co-Chair and Partner of Isram Realty Group, a private platform, with a portfolio consisting of 2.5 million square feet of retail shopping centers and 1,300 multifamily units.
Mr. Soffer earned his BA in Economics and law degree (LLB) from the College of Management, Academic Studies, in Israel. He serves as an Editorial Advisory Board Member for Healthcare Real Estate Insights.
Sean Walsh
Director | Asset Management & Acquisitions
Mr. Walsh joined TopMed Realty in 2022. He serves as the Director of Asset Management and Acquisitions focused on asset management, acquisitions, and financial and business development. Mr. Walsh has been involved in approximately $200 million worth of transactions throughout his career. Prior to joining TopMed, Mr. Walsh was with a subsidiary of Blackstone where he was involved in real estate lending, financial analysis, data analysis, and investor relations.
Mr. Walsh underwrote real estate transactions for the platform’s biggest clients, and he coordinated between all parties involved in the real estate transaction lifecycle.
Preceding his time at the subsidiary of Blackstone, Mr. Walsh was involved in the logistics industry where he helped build up the operations department for the companies to whom he was employed.
Mr. Walsh holds a B.S. in Economics with a minor in Finance from the University of Miami.
